**Information Officer - Customer Service**

An outstanding opportunity has become available for experienced customer service professionals to join Legal Aid Western Australia’s Information Line, a state-wide in-bound Information Call Centre based in Perth CBD. As an Infoline Officer, you will be assisting clients in identifying their legal problems and linking them up to services both internal and external. You will be required to provide information by telephone about the legal process, Legal Aid’s guidelines and services as well as referrals to other legal and social support services.

Your responsibilities:

- Manage incoming calls by identifying client requirements
- Provide appropriate information and referrals to clients contacting Legal Aid
- Participate in training, skills development by attending team meetings, call monitoring and on the job mentoring
- Assist in the ongoing improvement of information databases and service delivery
- Provide and maintain a positive and professional image by delivering a quality service to clients by telephone

Your core capabilities:

- Experience in a customer service environment - call centre or customer call services environment - desirable
- Highly developed communication skills
- Sound literacy and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and professional when dealing with all clients from varied backgrounds

**Requirements**:

- Need to be able to provide a valid/current National Police Clearance (completed within the last 12-months)
- Need to be able to provide proof of vaccination - three doses mandated however minimum of two to start work with the third (booster) due within one month of being eligible.

Team members will be required to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week with each shift lasting 3-4 hours (8:50am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm).
