About the role:
As an IT Reliability officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the VR Arena located in the Murray Street Mall in Perth. In addition to maintaining our PCs and VR equipment, you will become well versed in operations, from customer service, running VR sessions, troubleshooting, hosting events and store management, as you work alongside our team of Game Masters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Actively look for improvement opportunities to streamline our IT processes and improve overall system reliability
- Identify, troubleshoot, and record technical issues while implementing strategies to minimise their frequency and impact
- Engage with and deliver a fun atmosphere for customers ensuring they walk away raving about their experience
- Oversee teams to ensure operations run smoothly
- Maintain computer and VR equipment to ensure they are fit for operations
- Competent in managing crowds, parties and corporate events
- Organise bookings, private events and drive sales through excellent customer service skills
- Promote further business through interactions with customers and social media channels

About you:

- Previous IT experience is essential and any leadership experience will be highly regarded.
- Fun, energetic and an enthusiastic team player
- Refined managerial skills and experienced in leading small teams
- Customer focused with a priority to ensure all customers walk away raving about their awesome experience
- Ability to operate in a fast paced environment and respond to problems quickly and logically
- Well presented with excellent communication skills
- Punctual, organized and high level of attention to detail
- Implement and maintain operations and maintenance schedules
- A love of gaming and an interest in VR is highly desirable

Work hours

This position is a part-time role with a view to become full-time in the future. The hours of work would be predominantly afternoon and evenings plus weekends.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 4 - 25 per week
