**The Role**
Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a passionate enterprise systems Leader who understands the intricacies of a media organisation ecosystem.
- Lead a team of technology professionals to deliver operations, evolution and support to our business-critical enterprise systems, including the Media Asset Manager, which sits is at the heart of SBS and is critical to delivering content to our audiences.
- Keeping an eye on how the industry is evolving for both broadcasters and audiences alike.
- Ensuring continuity of systems and operations in a live 24-7 environment
**About you**
- Experience delivering critical system projects in a complex environment and an understanding of maintaining live 24/7 systems and environments
- You'll likely be working in a media-dominant environment at present and understand the inner workings of a major television, radio broadcaster and/or digital publisher.
- A passion for media and technology systems.
- More importantly, have a strong background in delivering enterprise-wide systems, integrations and solutions.
- You seek to partner with your internal stakeholders to deliver overall business benefit, where their success is your success.
The core skills required to excel in this role are:
- Understanding of the lifecycle of media e.g., ingest, processing and delivery
- Experience within the broadcast industry
- An understanding of Service Delivery and Project Management frameworks
- Experience in software delivery lifecycle including test cycle and migration of software
- Experience in project delivery, including solution and design review
- Finance and reporting systems experience e.g., Oracle, TM1
- Understanding of ESB/SOA, integration, and middleware e.g., Mulesoft, Talend
- Experience in document and data repository technologies e.g., Content Management Systems, CRM, SharePoint, SQL
- Strong vendor management skills
- Previous experience managing a team of at least 5-10 resources
- Excellent communications skills and customer service excellence
