APRA has an opportunity for an Analyst to join our External Data Reporting team. The team is responsible for promoting market transparency through releasing data on the APRA website, covering all industries and entities regulated by APRA.

The Analyst will be involved in production and ongoing delivery of publicly available data. The Analyst will also contribute to improving how APRA presents and shares its data, and improving the processes for compiling and delivering data.

In this role you will:

- Contribute to transparency in the financial services industry
- Using existing processes, produce reports for external stakeholders per agreed timeframes and with attention to detail
- Identify actions to improve the accessibility and usability of data, and reduce the risk of misinterpretation
- Identify actions to improve the efficiency of the processes used to compile and release data, preferably through increased automation
- Liaise with key external stakeholders such as the Treasury, other regulators and financial entities
- Effectively manage your time, effectively prioritising day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks
- Contribute to APRA’s data transformation program
