**Your new role**

Working within IS&T, Customer Service Branch - Operational Services stream and reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a customer-focused Service Desk, aiding end users in technology use, and collaborate with other managers to ensure the availability and quality of IS&T services to SAPOL.

This unique role seeks a proactive, energetic leader focused on people care, customer care and service management. Managing a team of 8 in a complex environment, you will contribute to supporting significant programmes, reviewing data and processes, making recommendation to help improve quality and efficiency, train and upskill staff as required and motivate the team. Experience and knowledge of mobile devices, M365, SharePoint and/or OneDrive would be advantageous.

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Ability to manage a customer service function focused on resolution of customer issues
- Knowledge of current technology required to undertake modern policing activities
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills and an ability to gather and interpret information
- Capability in identify needs, develop strategies, and deliver quality services
- Understanding and practical experience managing in a SDLC, ITSM and ITIL environment
- Strong communication skills; able to explain tech solutions, build rapport, and persuade effectively
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to manage a team of staff, determine priorities, set goals and achieve agreed outcomes

**Salary**

AS05 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum plus super.
