Dietitian Grade 3

We are very excited to offer a highly sought-after Dietitian role that will be a part of our incredible Allied Health team at Epworth Freemasons

This is a part time (.8EFT) parental leave cover role until September 2025, with work days being Tuesday - Friday.

**You will make an impact by**:

- Providing evidence-based nutrition intervention advice, support, counselling and education to patients and their family/carers
- Demonstrating empathy and compassion, encouraging patient and family members participation in all stages of care
- Promoting and providing dietetic and nutritional intervention across a range of inpatient wards and outpatient services
- Actively participating as a member of the department and relevant committees
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care using a patient-centred approach
- Initiating, leading, and actively participating in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are actively explored and best practice is achieved

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Previous experience in an acute hospital setting (minimum of 7 years)
- Experience in ICU and oncology is ideal
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholder at all levels
- The ability to develop, influence and motivate a small team of experienced clinicians
- Commitment to best practice and working within a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed time management, prioritisation and communication skills
- Proven evidence of service delivery and leading quality projects

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
- Eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia (DA)
- Eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Program
