- The Clinical Nutrition department consists of approximately 25 EFT and 30 staff across RMH sites. We provide care to our patients within the acute, subacute and community therapy services across all specialities. We operate a 7-day service across inpatient care and our HEN service is expansive and predominantly linked to our state-wide speciality services. As a Clinical School, RMH Clinical Nutrition is recognised as a centre of excellence and best practice for clinical nutrition and dietetics. The department is supported by the Clinical Nutrition Manager and is committed to providing evidence based, patient-centred care. Wellbeing, supervision and reflective practice, professional development, student teaching, quality improvement and research are key focuses of our team.

**Your New Role**:

- The Grade 3 HEN Dietitian leads and co-ordinates the Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). They provide clinical expertise, advice and leadership to the nutrition department and other staff at RMH as required. Working with the Nutrition Manager and clinical partners, they are responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a strategic service & business plan to ensure the delivery of a high-quality patient centred nutrition and dietetic care to HEN patients at RMH for all eligible patients.
- In addition to leading the HEN service, other core responsibilities include:

- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior Dietitians.
- Opportunity to lead a department portfolio.
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation to nutrition care including research, quality initiatives, and essential governance processes.
- Collaborative engagement with key disciplines and partners to deliver excellence in patient care.
- Being an essential member of the RMH senior Dietitians team and contributing to the Clinical Nutrition strategic plan.

**About You**:

- You have 7 years relevant clinical experience ideally with specialist experience of 3 years in enteral nutrition support and HEN services.
- You have broad and relevant clinical experience in acute nutrition care, home based and ambulatory services.
- You are passionate about leadership and have experience supervising junior Dietitians.
- Ideally you have a higher degree or are progressing towards same.
- You are eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
