The purpose of this role is to optimise group performance by ensuring performance targets, continuous improvement and organisational objectives are met while providing a high level of customer experience delivery to our stakeholders.
The Group Manager will also develop, implement, forecast and drive the strategic direction, performance and sustainability of the Self Insurance VIC team while overseeing a scalable, efficient and collaborative customer-centric operating model.
This will be a **permanent, full time **position based in the **Melbourne **office, with flexibility to work from home.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Ensure team achieves performance and KPI targets as part of the BU performance framework
- Utilise customer satisfaction and the customer experience and identify opportunities to enhance communication and services - utilising the continuous improvement channels to plan and implement change
- Identify and evaluate individual and organisational development needs. Deliver individual and group learning and development programs.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.
- Manage and oversee budget expenditure, conducting regular reviews against plan and budget and taking corrective actions as required.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong experience within a Personal Injury Claims Management background.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Manager role, working within a fast-paced business environment
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships at a senior level with all stakeholders, internal clients and the management team in line with our values and behaviours.
- Strong experience in leading and coaching capacity - managing a team or teams.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
- Ability to deal with conflicting demands ensuring key priorities and deadlines are met.
