**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Are you an energetic, innovative carer looking for the next exciting step in your career that enables you to be part of an exciting team responsible for delivering a new model of aged care in modern facility completed in 2018.

We have part time positions available in our state of the art facility at Mercy Place Ballarat.

The Care Companion is responsible for all primary care needs of our residents including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry. This role will contribute to a successful and sustainable care culture. Mercy Place Ballarat offers small household living - a small number of residents living together in each of our eight room apartments.

- Promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by providing care using a person centred approach
- Partnering with residents and their families
- Undertake care and documentation to the highest standard
- _**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment
