**Job Title: Event + Entertainment Manager**

**Location**: Caloundra, QLD (Warehouse + Office), Sunshine Coast (Work Coverage), Occasional travel to Sydney (Paid for)

**Position Type**: Part-time (2-3 days a week to start, more leading into summer)

**Transportation**: Own transport required; Large vehicle (van, 4WD, etc.) preferable

**About Us**: Mudcrab Music & Events is a dynamic company specializing in event management, entertainment, and audio-visual services. With a focus on delivering exceptional experiences, we operate across various venues and spaces in Queensland and New South Wales. Our team is passionate about creating unforgettable moments for our clients and their guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Warehouse Equipment Management**:

- Prepare equipment hire jobs
- Liaise with customers
- Set up and pack down events
- **Entertainment Management**:

- Oversee rostering of DJs and bands across a dozen venues in NSW and QLD
- Book new talent
- Create run sheets
- **Event Management**:

- Manage and create new events across a variety of venues and spaces across QLD and NSW
- Manage + monitor social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Youtube and Websites for event rollout + promotion.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience in audiovisual, events, entertainment, and/or social media preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required
- Love music and events, at a large scale and high pace

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in event management, entertainment, or related fields
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technology
- Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies

**Additional Information**:

- Part-time position with potential for increased hours
- Occasional travel to Sydney for interstate events (expenses covered)
- Warehouse and office located in Caloundra, QLD
- This can be a high paced and stressful job at times - with involvement in large scale nightclub events and music festivals.

Pay: $27.50 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
