Subscription Content Producer

The Subscription Content Producer is responsible for writing, publishing and promoting our subscriber-only content. Whether it's preparing an EDM with the best content of the week, working with our audio team to promote an exclusive podcast, or building a new article in our CMS. You will be deadline-driven and content obsessed, using data to drive decision making.

**About the role**
- Work with department heads in Audio, Video, Social and Editorial teams to manage pipeline of subscription only content.
- Reflect on performance of subscription content by checking numbers to understand what resonates with our readers/ listeners and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Research, conduct interviews and build strong relationships with key contacts to generate a steady flow of quality subscriber-only stories for Mamamia.
- Incorporate SEO best practice into their posts to ensure they are to standard and performing optimally.
- Writing concise, punchy,on-brand social media 'sells' and headlines that maximise content shareability.
- Represent Mamamia at industry events in a professional manner, when asked to by the editorial or commercial team.
- Monitoring TV, radio, print and online content as well as social media platforms to ensure you're constantly on top of the news cycle and aware of 'what everyone's talking about'.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Media & Communications (or similar).
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Content Producer or similar role.
- Experience using WordPress or similar CMS system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Social media obsessed.
- Self motivated and enthusiastic team player.
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills.
