About the Role

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role will be responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the operations including transportation efficiency, safety, factory personnel, industrial relations and following government regulations such as NHVR Guidlines,EPA,Worksafe, Vicroad Manhari TMP, process management, productivity, technical, maintenance and improvement along with convert cost responsibility, payroll and KPI reporting.

Currently looking for a Transportation Co-Ordinator to start with us on a full-time basis to assist with our Transportation department Task/Jobs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on all transport related processes and issues across our Australian interstate, domestic and Country Sides.
- Manage daily reporting and follow up appropriately
- Maintain and verify ''Truck Drivers Run Sheets’’ & Drop Boxes'' on daily basis.
- Check all trucks daily maintenance, pre-start checklists.
- Collect and supply transportation pricing to sales representatives
- Create and maintain transportation vendor record keeping database
- Weighbridge invoice verification and customer call response.
- Deliveries, including outbound consignment DATA validation, customer facing queries, delivery issues and delays
- Manage communications with internal stakeholders and customers
- Build and maintain a relationship with transport partners across all transport services.
- Ensure efficient movement and accounting of all customer deliveries from our scrap yard (Horsham /Ararat), directly to customers
- Ensure effective and cost-efficient delivery within set KPI’s.
- Make sure all the transportation activities conducted by Manhari Drivers are meeting the NHVR (Mass Management /Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)/ Maintenance Management etc), Manhari Traffic Management Plan, Worksafe Victoria & VicRoads regulations, EPA requirements and related to other governments norms and condition of use.
- Manage and maintain customer returns.

**Education and qualifications**:

- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- A degree in business management, logistics or a related field.
- Prior experience as a transport coordinator or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer literacy skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
