The Role:
The Transport Coordinator provides administrative support and co-ordinates all administrative activities relating to the National Transport work area. The position may be the first point of contact for the Client transportation to and from customers and provides general enquiry assistance. Key duties include but not limited to:
- Contact customers to confirm vehicle availability and location.
- Review transport orders to ensure all data is accurate
- Coordinate the transport collection and delivery of recyclable products from client sites
- Create work orders to ensure that these are on-charged to customers through the account sales or direct invoice process
- Timely follow up of transport suppliers, to ensure collection and delivery to customers is on time
**What would we like you to bring to the team?**
- Proven experience in a fast-paced administration role
- A positive, pro-active attitude, and a team player
- Excellent customer service skills
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Working experience within Automotive/Transport would be beneficial, as would a passion for the industry, although not essential

- Willing to complete training to meet the requirements of this role
- Ability to work with Management in achieving Management’s expectations and requirements
- Good work ethic and a good attitude

This is a position with a 1-week trial with prospects of becoming full-time permanent.
