Empty Container Fleet Controller

**The Opportunity**

Rocke Brothers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Empty Container Fleet Controller to join our growing Port Logistics business based at Tottenham.

The Empty Container Fleet Controller will work closely with the planning and customer service teams to ensure a superior service for our valued customers.

The Fleet Controller will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the movement of wharf cartage to meet customers’ requirements in an efficient manner by effectively using company and subcontractor fleets
- Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements of drivers
- Timely and accurate completion of administration to ensure work is charged to client within 24 hours of job completion
- Coordinating movements of import and export containers from and to depots in accordance with terminal time slot windows
- Ensure empty containers are de-hired before the free time allowed to handle the containers expires, ensuring penalties for late de-hire of containers are not incurred
- Ensure prompt communication to customers regarding delays or problems in meeting the agreed delivery window ideally no later than 60 minutes prior expected delivery time
- Ensure all transport movements are co-ordinated in the most efficient manner that will prevent storage or penalties being applied
- Address or escalate instances of driver non-conformance to the manager

**Who are you?**
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Previous experience with Containerchain (Empty), 1-Stop (VBS) & Maximus (TMS);
- Solid understanding of the VIC Port Logistics industry;
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to work alongside multiple stakeholders
- Resilient and enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
