Trainers and Assessors

Wakefield International College is a registered training organisation based in Adelaide that specialises in providing training to International Students in commercial cookery, hospitality management and horticulture.

We are currently preparing and setting up our NSW Campus, located in Gosford on the Central Coast.

We are seeking experienced and passionate trainers to join our team soon, and we are seeking those who can train in the areas of:

- Commercial Cookery
- Hospitality Management
- Horticulture

The role requires you to:

- Provide support and feedback to students to ensure the successful completion of their qualification
- Conduct and mark assessments
- Provide both face to face and online virtual training sessions
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Undertake workplace visits with students who are on work placement
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal and computer skills
- Have a strong work ethic and a willingness to assist others by sharing your skills and experience and giving students the knowledge and skills to pursue their chosen vocation.
- Have a positive attitude and professional work ethic

Selection Criteria
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or higher or TAE40110 and must hold TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 units)
- Relevant vocational competencies in at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated current industry experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in training and assessment within an RTO environment
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
- Prior experience delivering and assessing relevant courses with a track record of student satisfaction and positive outcome
- Experience in materials development, moderation and validation processes
- Experience working with students from a multi-cultural international background
- Passion for training and motivating others
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to deliver relevant and engaging training
- Experience in presenting/training in an online environment such as Moodle
- Documented evidence of current industry and vocational currency
- Hold an ABN.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
