**About the role**
Joining a friendly team, the Human Resources Adviser will work directly with the HR Business Partners and broader Human Resources team to provide high quality, professional HR advice and support to staff and management across the Office. This is a varied and interesting role which will appeal to those with a genuine passion for human resources, problem solving and delivering exceptional customer support.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Provide advice to staff and managers about conditions of service, entitlements, remuneration, benefits and related statutory requirements, legislation, policy and procedure.
- Manage and ensure timely response to requests raised through the Request Management System and act as day-to-day conduit on payroll related ticket submission and information flow between the ODPP, staff and Shared Services
- Support and partner with the HRBP to participate in local team meetings for nominated geographic region to understand issues within the business and share current knowledge of HR policy and best practice solutions to HR-related issues.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to ensure effective people management for nominated geographic region including maintaining staff establishment lists/organisational charts, monitoring and preparing correspondence relating to onboarding, mobility and temporary arrangements and identifying opportunities for ongoing appointments.
- Assist with case management of work and non-work-related sick leave, performance issues and leave balances
- Participate and provide administrative support in recruitment activities as required, including local recruitment activities and suitability assessments.
- Participate in projects to improve HR service delivery and organisational efficiency, including the use and formatting of the SuccessFactors suite.
