**The opportunity**

We are seeking experienced Underground Fitters (Heavy Disel) ideally with a proven track record working within hard rock mining sector. This position includes paid flights from Brisbane or Maroochydore and an attractive 8/6 roster. In this role as Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety and production targets are met while upholding quality standards by maintaining the operation of mining equipment both underground as well as in the workshop. This opportunity is available immediately and flights, camp accommodation and paid travel time.

**Details of the role**
- Attractive 8/6 roster
- 10 hour workdays
- FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
- Camp & meals provided (gym included)
- Paid travel time
- Bonus incentives
- Conduct diagnosis testing and inspections
- Ongoing preventative maintenance of equipment
- Work across both the workshop as well as underground
- Breakdowns and repairs of all equipment

**Qualifications and Requirement**
- Experience working as an underground Fitter
- Heavy diesel experience (mandatory)
- Prior mining experience working underground ideally hard rock
- Current police check / willing to refresh
- Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills
- Appropriate trade certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- Full Australian working rights
