If this sounds like you, then we have your next opportunity.We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager - Fleet, to join our Procurement Team who will look after the end-to-end management of our Fleet.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for our end-to-end Fleet across Australia as well as the ongoing management of fleet operations across the O’Brien Group.
**Additional responsibilities include**:
- Maintaining current fleet leases and commercial fleet replenishment, by ensuring the fleet of vehicles, cars, trucks and vans are kept maintained and repaired when required in a timely manner.
- Ensure all vehicles meet compliance requirements, with all relevant regulations, laws and are following WH & S regulations
- Liaise with our frontline and group leaders to ensure our Glazing Branches and AutoGlass Service Centres, have the correct and adequate fleet resources to serve our customers.
- Ensure compliance and cost management for the entire fleet, meets organisational plans and remains within budget.
- Fleet utilisation and performance monitoring, including maintenance and reporting on fleet and equipment availability and utilisation.
- Fleet strategy analysis, to deliver continuous improvement, including environmental sustainability of our fleet.
**About You**:
You will be a highly motivated and organised individual who can work effectively, to deliver innovative procurement solutions, efficiencies, achieve value for money, reduce risk and maintain compliance in support of our Operations Teams.
- Experience in a procurement role encompassing fleet operations and managing asset portfolios.
- General knowledge of a vehicle mechanics and experience in dealing with commercial vehicle body builders.
- Operationally focused with excellent communication skills.
- A highly skilled negotiator with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Team player, highly collaborative and an ability to support & coach others.
- Experience in developing and implementing fleet management strategies and policies.
- A good working knowledge of logistics & inventory management processes is desirable but not essential.
