**Your role**
An opportunity has become available for a Quality Control (QC) Specialist within the QC Support department in the QC Compliance and QC Sample Receipt area. QC Support Specialists will support a team responsible for management of laboratory distribution of production samples for QC testing, tracking and monitoring of Quality Control compliance activities, and administrative support to other QC Departments to meet business requirements.
**Your responsibilities**
- Support the team to ensure that the sampling and testing performed in each facility are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP
- Ensure processes and procedures are conducted in accordance with the approved procedures;
- Assist in the development, preparation and training of QC staff in approved procedures as required
- Assist with investigations of Out of Specification (OOS) test results, invalid assays or when unusual data is observed and complete TrackWise/Veeva investigation, change control, CAPA and audit actions
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit responses and provide regular updates on progress and timelines to a QC Team Leader/Manager
- Actively seek, recommend and implement improvements to enhance quality within QC Support
- Co-ordinate and/or conduct the calibration of instruments as required and maintain the operations of the QC Sample Receipt area
**Your experience**
- Tertiary qualification in a related scientific discipline
- 1 + years’ experience in quality control testing in a GxP lab in a highly regulated environment
- Are experienced in accurately maintain testing records, analysing data, and scientific report writing
- Have excellent customer focus and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to solve problems
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to working in a team environment
