**Specialist Haematologist**
Fractional/Fixed term, 38hrs/fortnight - Leave cover 05 May 2025 - 25 July 2025

Clinic cover across Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Clinical haematology is a unified department formed between Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is the largest haematology service in the country. We provide a publicly funded, evidence-based care for patients with haematologic disorders across Melbourne and beyond, within with specialised disease groups, each led by a nationally recognised and experienced clinical leader in their area.
**Your new role**:

- Provide high quality patient care in the setting of classical haematology, allogeneic stem cell transplantation & myeloma
- Attend four weekly outpatient clinics at Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Participate in consultant on-call roster for classical haematology, allogeneic transplant and myeloma
- Participate and contribute to weekly multi-disciplinary meetings and ward discharge meetings
- Work Closely with Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Consultants in relevant disease groups

**About you**:

- Medical qualifications registerable by Medical Board of Victoria
- Post graduate qualification in internal medicine, (FRCP) and haematology
- Experience in managing and treating patients with malignant haematological disorders
