- **About The Role**_

We are seeking a highly organised and passionate Care Manager to join our organisation. This role will lead and manage the provision of appropriate clinical care to each resident, provide direction, support, and guidance to clinical staff to ensure they are effectively engaged in the delivery of appropriate clinical care to residents, and monitors activities against specific performance requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direction and supervision in the delivery of care to registered nurses and care staff
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs to improve residents’ care in consultation with residents and their representatives.
- Promptly act to resolve any conflict in the workplace.
- Provide direction and support to staff, staff appraisals, and disciplinary actions, and refer issues relating to disputes, grievances, or poor performance to the Facility Manager.
- Maintain operations of the facility in the situation of absence of the Facility Manager
- Respond to crises and breakdowns in areas of responsibility, ensure that appropriate interventions are put in place and senior management is made aware of problem areas.
- Be the team leader for the entire care team

**About the Successful Applicant**
- **Essential**:_
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA for at least 5 years.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to engage staff at all levels.
- Prior experience evaluating and reviewing practice standards and procedures, assessment tools, and care plans in aged care.
- Have an excellent understanding of AN-ACC, Accreditation, and Legislation policies.
- National Police Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
- Strong clinical and documentation skills.
- **Desirable**:_
- Staff management / rostering experience in aged care.
- Experience in the use of PCS / BestMed / CareSystems / eTools software
