**The opportunity**
IFYS Project Paradigm has an exciting opportunity for a **_Part-Time Project Support Worker_** to join the team.
Project Paradigm delivers a national strategy that supports prevention, early intervention and community capacity building to ensure children and young people are free from harm through exploitation.
The Project Support Worker - CSE role will hold accountability for contributing to the development and implementation of practice guidance, training and resources. The role will support the Principal Advisor - CSE in providing specialist advice and training nationally and state-wide, based on national and international best practice for the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.

- Part-time employment, 6-month contract
- 45.6 hours per fortnight, work three days per week, Monday being a mandatory working day
- $85,000 per annum pro rata + super

**_ Key objectives:_**
- Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational frameworks and resources that support employees, volunteers and carers in recognising and responding to children and young people who have been, or are at risk of being, sexually abused or exploited
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Provide specialist advice in relation to CSE through research, case reviews, the preparation of policies and procedures, presentations and program material
- Support and contribute to the development and delivery of projects and campaign material to raise national awareness of CSE
- Regularly report on the completion and delivery of all project activities, utilising a detailed work plan, recording outputs and impact measures
- Contribute to continuous improvement, reviewing and developing broader documentation and procedures, which create greater efficiencies in business operations and enhance cultural practice
- Maintain a currency of knowledge and practice regarding National and International standards relating to child protection
- Complete all necessary administrative, financial and human resource functions, fostering a positive workplace culture and adherence to legislative and procedural requirements
**_ Key requirements:_**
- Experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification related to Human Services highly desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-based behaviours and the factors which may contribute to young people offending or engaging in high-risk behaviours
- Knowledge and understanding of complex power & control dynamics and the characteristics of coercive control within cycles of abuse
**_ Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful:_**
- Valid Queensland driver's license with no restrictions and own fully insured vehicle
- QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
- Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
- National Crime Check (A new check will be completed through IFYS systems)
