Manager, Analytics, Practice Management

**How will I help?**

The 2nd Line Assurance team is accountable for preparing and delivering the annual assurance plan as approved by the Chief Risk Officer. The plan must comply with 2nd Line Assurance Coverage Standards which applies to, Prudential, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, Compliance and Conduct, and Financial Crime.

As the Manager (Analytics) in the Practice Management team will work closely with members of 2nd Line Assurance teams on the development, implementation and support of Data Analytics techniques used in Assurance reviews.

You will also work closely with the Practice Management Leadership team to support 2nd Line Assurance reporting providing and validating data inputs are logically structured, include engaging content and incorporating data and visuals to support key messages being reported to the business and governance committees.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**Data Analytics Support**:

- Maintain Data Analytics methodologies, tools, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
- Impart technical knowledge and skills to stakeholders and other members of the team.
- Resolve analytics questions in accordance with stakeholder’s requirement.
- Support stakeholders across the teams to ensure integration and alignment of data analytics activities. Identify re-occurring support issues and contribute to sustainable solutions.
- Participate in technology service team meetings, projects, and initiatives.

**Reporting**:

- Support the Practice Management team in providing complete and accurate data use for reporting.
- Support and assist the team with the identification of behaviour and data trends.
- Ability to simplify data inputs and ensure key information is present for dashboards and reporting purposes in a visually appealing form.
- Use of data visualisation tools to present engaging messages in reports.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Develop and maintain key relationships with Business, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit stakeholders to achieve a coordinated data analytics and reporting approach.
- Collaborates with peers to collectively promote a high-performance culture and behaviours within the business unit.

You will have an ability to present technical and complex analytics tools and methodology in an engaging way as well as to adapt tone of voice and approach to suit relevant audiences and to simplify analytics processes to enable the team in the use of DA.
