**About Acumen**

This is a unique opportunity Acumen is the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel. As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant at Acumen Health you will work with our Defence force to support their rehab journey:

- take a more holistic care approach & work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
- utilise clinical reasoning skills and expertise to support people who have suffered from a diverse range of injuries, illnesses or trauma.
- work with motivated clients to develop, implement, and monitor their rehabilitation plans whilst having onsite access to medical and treatment providers (Doctors, Physio’s, Psychologist, etc.) for additional direct support

Supporting ADF members at HMAS Cerberus in Crib Point (Mornington Peninsula). With the ability to work in a hybrid role means you can truly have WORK / LIFE balance - Defence members work hours are 07:30 - 15:30 so you can enjoy early starts and early finishes or tailor your calendar to suit both your clients needs and your best work life balance. Choose from part-time (3 days per week) or full-time options that will see you extend your support services across our DVA portfolio.

A high-quality service provider, you will be SUPPORTED and MENTORED through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (incl. ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise, setting you up for success.

**What will make you successful**:

- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA as an EP, ASORC, AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or Osteopathy
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience is desirable
