About the role
Following sustained growth in our business, we have created two new opportunities to provide leadership for our NSW and VIC/TAS business units.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, these State Manager roles are permanent, full-time positions and will be responsible for providing direction and support to our member stores and our warehouse operations. In addition to this, there will be a strong focus on driving growth and efficiency to achieve performance targets in line with the national strategy and approach.
Ideally, the NSW role will be based out of Sydney, Tamworth or Wagga Wagga.
The preferred location for the VIC position is Melbourne or Shepparton.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide supportive and clear direction to the warehouse teams and member stores-
- Coach and build the capability of all employees and provide timely feedback against performance goals-
- Contribute to the overall business plan-
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure the effective delivery of the national AIRR sales strategy across member stores and warehouse operations-
- Review results to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive and achieve performance outcomes-
- Work with Warehouse/Sales Managers and Marketing team to ensure effective execution of catalogues and other marketing campaigns-
- Maximise efficiencies through excellent inventory managementAbout you- Demonstrated leadership experience at a senior level-
- Passionate about coaching and developing others in sales and change management-
- Relationship-focused leader with advanced relationship management skills-
- Highly developed business acumen with experience in a sales environment-
- Result-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure-
- Comfortable with regular weekly travel across the state-
- Previous experience in a rural retail/ag supply chain environment will be highly regardedAbout AIRR
