**About the Role**
ANU’s Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor is seeking a motivated and experienced Executive Officer to support the Dean, Academic Quality. The Executive Officer provides critical support and advice to the Dean, Academic Quality in order to achieve the University's goals for the portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work with leaders and influencers across the University, and externally.
The Executive Officer will engage in and lead in strategic planning, preparation of high profile presentations and documents, and management of significant projects.
**About You**
This role is suited to an excellent strategic thinker, capable of working effectively on multiple projects, and with the resilience to adapt to changing needs.
Your skill-set will include:
- Strong strategic capacity, and proven ability to exercise judgement and discretion in a high-profile, confidential environment.
- The ability to work at a high level, completing complex strategic tasks rapidly and accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritise competing demands, whilst maintaining attention to detail and exercising sound judgement while working autonomously and within a team;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, including confidence and ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Detailed knowledge of the Australian higher education sector, and the strategic context of the ANU, would be an advantage.
