What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to coordinate all inventory usage and storage requirements at the BevChain Laverton Site, according to company budgets and plans. This position will contribute to increase company profitability by efficiently and effectively maintaining all inventory related activities, stock accuracy and product integrity for BevChain whilst adhering to safety standards to achieve operational excellence.
This is a permanent opportunity, operating Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Key areas:
- Analyse inventory records to assess stock demand, ensuring optimal stock levels in collaboration with the client
- Uphold inventory accuracy through routine physical inventories or cycle counting
- Proactively address inventory issues, offering timely resolutions to minimise disruptions to customer and employee satisfaction
- Monitor and report on inventory records, emphasising damaged stock levels, credit returns, and stock adjustments
- Execute stock transactions in alignment with customer reconciliation processes
- Maintain regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including the customer
- Adhere to Linfox standards, policies, and procedures consistently, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management system.
Are you the one?
- 2 years+’ experience in inventory is highly regarded
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Intermediate Excel)
