**About this Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity exists within Lactalis for an experienced Quality Standards Manager, to champion the development and maintenance of our quality and food safety programs in line with the Lactalis group, customer requirements and regulatory standards.

The Quality Standards Manager is pivotal to the development of our training strategy, and will lead our Manufacturing sites with support and guidance, to ensure successful implementation of our quality & food safety programs.

The role also encompasses an internal audit component to monitor our Manufacturing sites compliance to our said programs.

We are looking for a pragmatic individual who has a broad understanding of and demonstrated experience with customer and certification standards, i.e. BRC, FSSC2200, HACCP, CFMSR, WSEP, McDonalds and ALDI.

**Responsibilities**
- Subject matter expert of all applicable food safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality management systems across our Manufacturing sites ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to internal teams to implement those programs.
- Audit sites against those programs and assist in finding solution to ensure compliance.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the maturity of the Quality & Food Safety Management system, its effectiveness across the business and compliance to it.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management or a related field. A Lead Food Safety Auditor qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Exceptional project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and implementing initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, influencing and inspiring others to embrace quality principles.
