**About the role**:
As a Assistant Distribution Manager for Lincoln Sentry, this role is a key part of the site leadership group whose collective aim is to develop and lead the operational and customer service excellence in the distribution function in the Bayswater Distribution Centre.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the continuous improvement of the site safety culture for all staff and visitors
- Champion the safety strategy for the site and ensure adherence to strategy by all staff
- Set and deliver training for compliance for all staff
- Review stock discrepancies
- Review accuracy of orders picked, packed, receipted, and put away and identify areas for improvement
- Manage resources in line with budget requirements to ensure productivity targets are maintained and budgets are met
- Identify and build development plans for high performing staff with a focus on enhancing capability and increasing efficiency and to ensure they are skilled for current roles and ready for future roles
- Conduct annual performance reviews and provide informal feedback to staff on a regular basis
- Foster the training and development needs of the team
- Mentor Team Leaders to promote continuous improvement practices

**Skills & Experience**
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has passion for success
- Sound leadership and development experience ideally in a warehouse environment
- Previous experience with the management of stock levels within a small to medium warehousing environment
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar environment, involving the management of a retail store environment and/or distribution
- The ability to seek out improvements and drive process enhancements
- Strong safety focus
