This leading University are seeking a Change and Communications Manager to be a part of a Change Practice supporting strategic goals and operational need across the organisation.

This is an implementation-focused role responsible for undertaking change impact analysis; developing, implementing, and evaluating tactical change plans, communications, and activities to ensure readiness for the implementation of initiatives being delivered by the Portfolio to support the transformational work undertaken, maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance.

**Key activities**
- Prepare impact analysis and evaluation of the impact of changes, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
- Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics, and identify and manage anticipated resistance to change
- Work collaboratively with various initiative leads to integrate change management activities into project plans
- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications relevant to change initiatives
- Undertake initial scoping and sizing, assign work, manage assignment, close, and evaluate change activities
- Provide input to reporting and performance measures, record relevant data, identify, and address risks and issues
- Contribute to, identify, and implement improvements to ensure the change management and communication framework and toolkit is fit for purpose
- Contribute to management of pipeline which may involve participation in team meetings, research on potential initiatives and early involvement

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Knowledge and skills in stakeholder management, change management planning, governance, strategy, engagement, business impact analysis and business readiness
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies, using a variety of channels, media and delivery styles to support engagement of internal audiences
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders, prioritise and deliver against deadlines in a complex operating environment
- Previous experience working on strategic projects in the Tertiary sector is desirable
