Community and Partnerships Coordinator

As a Community and Partnership coordinator you will play an integral role in supporting the overall function of the Partnership team. You will assist the Wellbeing and Community Advisor in administration and management of Club grants, be the first point of all sports and community group enquiries and building long lasting relationships with Bankstown Sports Club community groups and charity partners. This rewarding role will suit someone who is passionate about building and maintaining relationships.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Maintain strong partner relationships to ensure successful execution of partnership objectives
- Be the face of the BSC and act in line with the business values and visions
- Help manage small charitable events
- Produce monthly event specific report outlining client engagement and analytics on community awareness
- Coordinate the implementation of the organisation’s fundraising appeals and activities
- In-Kind Applications (Event Room Hire) and Cash Applications (Category 1/”Community” and Category 2/”Sport”)
- Managing ClubGRANTS online system, BSC Online Portal(s) and relevant spreadsheets and communicating with Community, Sport Finance team and Events team
- Be first point of contact for supported sporting clubs and community groups and deal with low-risk level enquiries surrounding event and function bookings, ClubGRANTS usage, gift card/small donation enquiries and general correspondence
- Collate information, curate ideas and content for monthly newsletter and/ or brand awareness
- Helping with the coordination of the events setup and community spaces
- Assist in the development and execution of community and events partnerships for Bankstown Sports Club and other associated partnerships
- Support the successful delivery of Sports and partnership objectives across the business such as lead generation, brand awareness and engagement
- Manage all Sporting/Community functions (ClubGRANTS) (enquiries through to running the event and utilising the Event Pro online system)

Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualified (in a related discipline such as commerce, business or events management) with experience and a track record of success in stakeholder/partnership or relationship management
- Experience in community relations, public relations, communication, events management, or similar experience
- Developed organisation skills
- Good communication skills and ability to build long lasting partnerships
- Good writing skills with the ability to prepare a wide variety of communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Effective time management
- Problem-solving abilities with a solution focused approach
- Team player with a positive, confident approach to working with people
- Natural advocate for driving community lead initiatives and align them to BSC’s vision.
- RSA RCG Competency Card (or willing to obtain)
