**Our Opportunity**
To support our ongoing growth, we are searching for an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity,that allows for complete autonomy. Daily duties will include however are not limited to;
- Conduct, complete and review risk assessments for production activities on sites.
- Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) across Quality, Safety and Environment.
- Assist with random on site drug and alcohol assessments.
- Organise specific training needs/requirements for all employees for QA and Safety compliance.
- Conduct training and presentations regarding health and safety matters, communicating lessons or improvements
- Manage H&S committee and ensure feedback is given to management and workers
- Assist with the end to end management of workplace injuries; including investigations, workers compensation claims and conducting return to work coordinator duties
- Work with the business with site compliance to regulatory requirements and the company management systems ensuring ongoing accreditation to 14001, 45001 & 9001.
- assist with audits when required.

**The Right Person**
To be successful within this role, you will have:
- Successful completion of Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety. Return to work certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in Managing Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation programs
- Experience in WH&S practices and procedures that have been developed within industrial manufacturing or materials handling environments.
- Thorough practical knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.
- Experience in Incident Investigation (ICAM Certification preferable)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
