**Talent Acquisition Specialist**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partner with people leaders, providing training, coaching, and advice to effectively attract, select, and deploy talent.
- Drive and assist hiring managers in end-to-end recruitment processes, induction, onboarding, and career succession planning.
- Conduct job briefings, draft job advertisements, and post roles on job boards.
- Organize shortlist discussions and interviews, advising on interview questions and assessments.
- Refine recruitment processes and talent attraction strategies to ensure diversity attraction and equitable access.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, selection, and onboarding information on internal communication platforms.
- Support data confidentiality, privacy, and compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and prepare reports for executive, board, and management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers.

**Key Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Talent Acquisition role.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, clients, volunteers, staff, and management.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Willingness to work within the polity and ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia.
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace challenges and support organizational objectives.
- A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check will be required for this role.
