**About the Role**

The Call Centre Operator will is responsible for responding to queries, providing assistance, and delivering information to customers, and the role will operate on a rotating roster. Hours of work will be between 6am-10pm Monday to Sunday and Public Holidays - penalty rates will be applied during weekends and public holidays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to deliver high quality customer service, through strong customer engagement in a high volume contact centre environment
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously while maintaining confidentiality and using discretion in the performance of all duties.
- Identify, refer and assign non-standard and more complex enquiries to support teams for action and resolution.
- Maintaining currency in knowledge of policy, legislation and related business processes in order to efficiently and effectively respond to customer needs.
- Maintaining accurate data records in a customer management system to ensure that customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ability to confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases

**About you**
- 2-3 years customer service experience
- Previous Government experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Experience working in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service
