**The Role**

We are looking for a Team Leader to guide our team in building innovative software solutions for back-office workforce optimisation, AI-led automations and support chat agents. In this role you’ll lead a talented team of developers, driving the design and delivery of cutting-edge platforms, integrating existing products into seamless workflows, and developing new tools tailored for legal professionals.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**

- Set the technical direction for the team, balancing innovation with practical delivery
- Drive the design, development, and maintenance of legacy as well as ongoing innovative software solutions
- Lead and inspire a team of developers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and a high standard of quality while motivating and supporting team members in their career development
- Monitor team members’ performance and provide constructive feedback, taking corrective action when necessary
- Contribute to hands-on development when required to support the team or project needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliver cohesive solutions
- Oversee technical specifications, designs, and project schedules, ensuring a client-focussed approach and alignment with business goals
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues, and propose innovative solutions
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to assess their potential for implementation within the team’s projects
- Report on the progress of projects to internal stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Team Lead, Senior Developer, or similar role, leading high-performing development teams
- Strong proficiency in C# and SQL with experience in full-stack development.
- Familiarity with software practices such as event-driven architecture, SOLID principles, and test-driven development
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to negotiate trade-offs between effort and impact
- Experience with enterprise-grade systems or SaaS platforms
- A collaborative and adaptable approach to leadership, and the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
