Monash Health is a large vibrant tertiary referral centre for all areas of medicine and the largest provider of Women's Health Services in Victoria. It has been accredited by RANZCOG to provide Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialty training with two RANZCOG approved training positions. We have RANZCOG trainees and RANZCOG subspecialty trainees in all women's health disciplines. Monash Health is a Monash University teaching hospital and is home to The Ritchie Centre, one of Australia's leading perinatal research centres. The Maternal Fetal medicine Unit provides care for women with complex pregnancies, both severe maternal diseases and fetal disorders, and is the surgical site of the Victorian Fetal Therapy Service (VFTS).

**About the Role**

The successful applicant will ideally be an accredited RANZCOG CMFM subspecialty trainee (year 1-3). It is desirable for the applicant to have a demonstrated research track-record. The Unit is supported by all subspecialty medical disciplines. There are excellent opportunities for clinical and basic research in maternal and fetal medicine, including fetal therapy, clinical trials, epidemiology, and surgery. Fellows are encouraged to undertake a Higher Degree (eg MD, PhD). The position provides opportunities to gain skills in all areas of Maternal Fetal Medicine for an enthusiastic and committed individual who aspires to be a future discipline leader.

**What you need**:

- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
