**Summary of the role**:

- Based at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg
- Fixed Term part time (43hours per fortnight or 21.5hours per week) (0.05EFT) position available
- The position is accredited for the equivalent of 6 months fulltime training through SOMANZ/RACP
- Flexibility with roles may be negotiated to suit individual training requirements
- Senior Registrar/Fellow will provide medical care for inpatients and outpatients at Mercy Hospital for Women as per position description
- Employment terms as per the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Advanced Trainee in General Medicine and/or relevant speciality area or have completed your FRACP (General medicine or other relevant specialty) or equivalent
- Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team

We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
