Package Landscapes Australia has a vacancy for an Apprentice carpenter who want to build something more exciting than stick frame homes. What we offer is a position to build custom play forts, decks and structures only limited to our and your imagination There's something different everyday and you will be part of the ideas process when it comes to designing and the final outcomes of the play spaces. Package Landscapes has a unique position within the market and is a leader in natural playground construction. Package designs and constructions playground predominately for the Childcare market and therefore we deal directly with the client, making us the Builder.

This is an exclusive opportunity for an existing apprentice carpenter or for someone looking to start an apprenticeship in one of the most interesting jobs available. With Package you build decks one day, next you will be building play forts with natural timber logs and slides. Build arbour entries and water feature misting spray arms. Build bridges, wharfs, staircases, tunnels etc. and work with other team members who enjoy their work as much as you do.

Package works mostly in South East Queensland but our work also takes us over many parts of eastern Australia also.
The right person will need:

- Construction experience and great work ethic
- Jack of all trades would advantageous
- Working with Children clearance or ability to obtain.
- Clean licence and a MR licence is favourable
- Machinery tickets
- skid steer and excavator favourable
- White construction safety Card
- Ability to work away as necessary

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Carpeting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) (preferred)
- Working With Children (WWC) Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
