**About the Role**

You’re an experienced Engineering Manager who loves building software In this role, you’ll lead a team of talented engineers working on our Network as a Service platform. You’ll be responsible for guiding both the development of new features and products, as well as maintaining and improving existing systems. You’re detail-oriented, care deeply about the product and excel at coaching developers to think like product owners, ensuring their work aligns with user and business needs.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
- Drive the technical vision in alignment with product goals, collaborating closely with other engineering and product teams.
- Support the career growth of engineers by providing regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement to identify, develop, and implement process changes to increase efficiency.
- Helping the team proactively pay down tech debt by allocating time and resources to refactor and optimise existing systems to ensure long-term stability and scalability.
- Evaluate new technology and provide input on best practices in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities.
- Grow, develop and retain an incredible team of engineers and foster a culture of excellence and supportive collaboration.
- Coordinate tasks and set team goals with a focus on achieving strategic business objectives.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer with solid technical expertise.
- Proven track record in managing and scaling teams of software engineers, preferably in a product-driven environment.
- Effective time management skills and ability to distribute workload effectively.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, support, and mentor team members.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing a technical team with the ability to work in a transparent and collaborative manner.
