**About the company**

Our client is in search of a Superannuation Specialist with a proven track record in the superannuation industry and a strong commitment to ethical standards. These individuals will be responsible for supervising superannuation funds, including some of Australia's most prominent financial organizations.

**Role summary**

As a Superannuation Specialist, your primary objective will be to conduct legal framework supervision and risk assessments for a few selected leading financial businesses. This will be in line with the Australian government and regulatory bodies while also following organisational goals of ensuring a financially stable and secure financial systems. You will collaborate with a small team and oversee a portfolio of organizations.

**About the role**
- Oversee a portfolio of clients with specific emphasis on their financial strength, governance, and risk management
- Evaluate the implications for financial safety resulting from significant changes in business operations, such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestments
- Manage problematic situations and act upon high-risk institutions effectively
- Work closely with selected clients to ensure necessary steps and actions are taken and followed
- Assess general and specific risks to financial institutions and their control systems
- Develop and research strategies to manage and mitigate emerging legal risks
- Take necessary legal action, if necessary, to protect policyholders, depositors, and superannuation fund members
- Generate industry data and provide expert insights and advice to senior executives.

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Applied Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in the Superannuation, Risk Management, Accounting (or) Actuarial
- Strong Financial Analysis,Investigative and Research skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for individuals with strong analytical, verbal and written communication credentials.
- Project (or) Case Management experience highly regarded
