What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on leader to take responsibility for our offshore staff. As an integral part of our management team you would enjoy supervising remote workers and motivating them to exceed expectations. The role would be the essential bridge between our valued clients and our talent pool, ensuring all deliverables are timely and of a consistent high quality.

- Daily "stand-up" meetings
- Providing continuous guidance and training
- Organising and allocating workflow
- Clearly identifying what the client wants
- Comfortable providing direct feedback
- Encouraging staff with both the "carrot and stick"
- Evaluating staff performance
- Monitoring time-management and billable hours

**Requirements**:
Must Haves

To be successful you will have plenty of experience using XPLAN, the current market leader in financial planning software. Ideally you will have experience with some of the advice modelling modules (XTOOLS, Wealth Solver, IPS) but must be absolutely proficient navigating client files and user workflow. We would also expect you to upskill your team regularly and be able to troubleshoot user issues.

The basic criteria that must be met, which you will be tested on, are:

- Know the Financial Planning Process inside-out
- Able to read and understand Statements of Advice
- Can prepare clear and concise documentation
- Clearly demonstrate technical and financial modelling skills
- Be comfortable and capable of communicating orally and in writing
- Able to provide constructive, clear feedback
- Be a willing participant in continuous learning
- Take personal accountability for your team in delivering timely, accurate and high-quality outcomes
- Working cohesively with your peers and external stakeholders
- Have a tertiary or post-graduate degree, or a diploma certification, that qualifies you in Financial Planning
- Know your way around Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and love it
- Broadly understand superannuation, retirement income streams, investments, insurance, taxation, social security and estate planning...
