We are seeking Game Masters for casual work. You will help us create a top-notch customer experience for children and adults alike, inspiring them with our original multiplayer VR Escape Rooms and competitive games.

Each player has their own dedicated room, specially designed and equipped with the latest VR gear. They will get to move around, search for items, manipulate objects and collaborate with their fellow team members.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Greet guests in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Record sales accurately in POS system
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate VR game mechanics to guests
- Monitor booking system to understand upcoming bookings
- Monitor and resolve minor game faults, report major faults to the manager
- Monitor customers during their gameplay, enforce safety rules and report hazards to the manager and ensure smooth gameplay flow for the customer.
- Opening and closing the venue
- Maintenance and sanitisation of VR equipment
- Keep the gameplay, reception and restroom areas clean and tidy
- Assist with store promotions and competitions

**Requirements**:

- At least 18 years old, with legal rights to work in Australia
- At least 1 **year of experience** in customer service
- Live in close proximity to Melbourne CBD and **available on short notice**:

- Ability to clearly communicate through written and verbal means
- Ability to work independently, in addition to working as a team
- Ability to work scheduled hours reliably and consistently
- A personality, and fun-loving individual, required.
- Passionate about emerging technology and VR gaming, not essential but desired.
- Experience tinkering with electronics or building gaming PCs,, not essential but desired.
- Loves to learn about customers and provide them with amazing service.
- A quick learner.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $19.61 - $26.15 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees must show proof of double vaccination for COVID-19 and are encouraged to wear masks when interacting with customers and when unable to maintain social distance. VR Equipment and common surfaces are disinfected after every session.

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
