**The Firm**
A leading Australian law firm with offices in capital cities around Australia committed to delivering premium legal services in a range of industries, from Technology and Digital Economy, to Agribusiness, Energy, Sports and Entertainment, and other. The firm's Melbourne team alone has over 60 lawyers distributed across different practice areas.

Despite the firm's size it prides itself on maintaining an inclusive workplace and allows flexible work arrangements, for example, working from home and standard work hours to protect employees' well-being.

**The Role**

A full-time, permanent role has opened up in the firm's Melbourne CBD office purely out of organic growth. The role will be to specialise in Personal Injury with a particular focus on Public Liability and, to a lesser extent, Property Damage.

The role is defendant-exclusive and the successful applicant will possess experience in litigation and dispute resolution in all state and federal courts and before the Coroner’s court.

You will be exposed to a wide range of industries including sport, hospitality, leisure, retail, cleaning, security, commercial and residential property management and owners, churches, schools, medical, health, aged care, trades and construction.

You will be working closely with a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, who will be available for delegation of work, mentoring and professional development. In turn, there will be a junior lawyer working in your team whom you will be responsible for mentoring and occasionally delegating work to.

**Essential Requirements**
- 3-4 years of PAE in Personal Injury Law in a reputable defendant-exclusive Melbourne-based firm with prowess in Personal Injury or Insurance Law
- Demonstrated success with building client relationships by delivering outstanding results
- Excellent communication skills
