Our team consists of 35 journalists and a network of photographers around the country who deliver the big news of the day. Our coverage includes politics, courts, sport, business and general news. **Role Responsibilities**:
- Join NCA NewsWire’s Federal Political team in the Press Gallery in Parliament House in Canberra
- File fast breaking and compelling copy from inside the gallery
- Cover the big political stories of the day
- Attend press conferences with Federal MPs, Budget lockups and Question Time
- Build an impressive contact book that facilitates political content
**Skills and Experience**:
- A journalist with a passion for politics, finance and current affairs
- Ideally have experience as a political or finance reporter
