Lorna Jane has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to support Lorna Jane's finance function at our HQ office located in Eagle Farm.

About the role
Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible to improve business operations and performance by ensuring effective controls are in place; making suitable recommendations based on financial data analysis to aid in strategic decision-making and business growth. This is a highly visible role responsible for delivering the strategic planning, analytical insights & reporting to the Leadership Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own & manage the planning, modelling and preparation of the annual budget.
- Analyse the Profit and Loss Statement to ensure accuracy in data and provide structured monthly flash and management reporting to business leaders.
- Lead & develop the management reporting suite providing valuable insights into the business allowing informed decisions to be made by utilising systems skills & knowledge.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to leverage and report on data-driven insights that improve business performance.
- Understand financial trends and variances, providing succinct commentary regarding the financial performance and the associated business drivers.
- Identify areas of potential risk, underperformance and opportunities for improvement, working with stakeholders to mitigate or promote.
- Analyse customer behaviour, segments and lifetime customer value to collate store profitability results, including foot traffic and targeting for review and action by Retail Leaders.
- Collaborate with all Department Heads to gain a thorough understanding of how each department functions and what they continue to the overall business.
- Assist each department with strategic decision-making, including analysing performance and identifying process improvements.

**Profile**:
You are a qualified CA/CPA Accountant with a previous background in financial planning and analysis in commercial business. You will have previous knowledge and experience in Netsuite as well as analysing financial and budgets for variances. You are an excellent communicator and are able to share information and insights and build relationships. You pride yourself on your ability to manage competing priorities, and you have a high level of attention to detail.
Experience within the retail industry would be highly regarded, as well as experience reporting cross international entities. You will have advanced skills in Excel and be comfortable working within a close-knit team.
