**Details**:Permanent, Full-Time

decarbonised solutions.

**Key areas of responsibility**
- Maintaining and updating group financial models for annual budget, medium term plan

(MTP, a 5 year period) and impairment testing processes
- Providing support to wider EDL business to assist with development of budget and MTP

assumptions
- Assist with presentation of budget and MTP results to key stakeholders across the

business and ELT
- Maintaining and updating modelling for contracted revenues to tracking adherence with

Treasury limits and presentation of results to sub-committee
- Preparation of aggregated financial model and information memorandums to be

distributed to potential financiers and tendering of debt facilities
- Ad hoc financial reporting for shareholders
- Any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required

**Person specification**
- Advanced financial modelling (DCF experience considered a bonus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter how is able to work autonomously
- Calm demeanour and ability to work through complexity
- A critical thinking who is able to test and challenge inputs and pick up potential errors
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the

business (including different geographical locations - offices in UK and US)
- A dedicated hard worker who is able to flex with the work load demands to achieve key

deadlines
- Somebody with a track record of implementing continuous improvement to models and

process
- High attention to detail
- A quick learner who is interested in the electricity and gas industries, the green transition

and developing their knowledge base
**Qualifications and experience**
- Advanced financial modelling using MS Excel
- Experienced user of MS PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance related discipline
- Prior experience (three to five years) in financial analyst or group management

accounting environment with focus on detailed financial modelling across multiple
businesses units and/or sites
- A good working knowledge of accounting concepts is required
- Understanding of business valuation and DCF concepts is a bonus
