**About the role**:
The Manager Financial Planning and Analysis is a critical leadership role that will ensure Powerlink is supported with an astute planning and analytical service that supports and informs Powerlink’s strategic and operational decision-making. Through an integrated planning framework and financial insights, this role will drive optimum financial and commercial performance leading to value creation and the achievement of Powerlink’s financial and strategic objectives.

This role will drive efficiencies around budgets and forecast, and will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and integration of Powerlink’s financial system across the business. A key responsibility will be to lead the annual financial planning and control cycle and provide a framework that promotes a performance and accountability-based culture, meeting all of Powerlink’s corporate and external planning and reporting obligations.

Collaborating with the Senior Leadership team, you will identify, design and report on key performance indicators and targets that provide actionable insight into performance of the business to support and achieve business strategies and objectives.

**About you**:
You are an exceptional finance leader who can interpret and communicate financials at all levels within the business. With previous success in collaboratively guiding others through transformational change, you are a leader who holds both yourself and your team to a very high standard, supporting a high-performance, team orientated, culture that delivers exceptional outcomes for the Powerlink business.

Holding a degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or another relevant discipline, you foster authentic relationships, communicate exceptionally and engage with a range of stakeholders and resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

Also critical to your success in this role is your expertise in financial business processes, practices and standards, contemporary management accounting systems, processes and techniques, as well as your applied knowledge of financial systems, which ideally includes exposure to SAP.
