**The Role**
We are looking for an Account Management Team Lead to join Brennan IT on a permanent basis based in either our Sydney or Newcastle office.
This position will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and a small portfolio of clients. You will act as an escalation point for customer and staff issues in your team and ensure the team is achieving KPI’s and
growing the team’s capabilities via ongoing mentoring and coaching.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Regular one on ones with staff to coach and mentor and drive best performance
- Dealing with staffing issues including retention and recruitment
- Ensuring the team have the skills to deliver the outcomes and KPIs set by the business.
- Managing the team’s pipeline and regular attendance at Sales Meetings.
- Acting as an escalation point for customer and staff issues
- Engaging relevant stakeholders to resolve escalations
- Management of a small portfolio of customers.
- Meeting with our customers and looking for new business and cross selling opportunities.
- Develop deep understanding of customer’s business including orchestration of strategic business planning, roadmaps
and workshops on how technology can help address their business requirements.
- Act as the main customer facing resource for a defined portfolio of customers - including responding to customer requests
for information, developing and planning solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in
meetings etc.
- Plan and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timelines and integrate personal sales efforts with
other organized marketing activities.
- Collaborate with all Practices and Vendors to ensure full knowledge of services and products, this will include attending
training courses when required.
- Build interdependent relationships between our team and our customers at all levels, particularly C level.
- Presenting proposals, contracts and managing issues as and when they arise.
- Negotiating and/or resolving conflict with Brennan IT team members, vendors or customers, building support for preferred
alternatives.
- Helping the customer understand the proposed technical solution to the business problem under applicable constraints.
**What skills and experience you bring**:
- Minimum 2 years people management experience
- Proven experience in coaching an Account Management or sales team to achieve their targets
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience (ICT experience preferred)
- A successful track record of achieving sales revenue targets
- Proven ability to manage large, complex whole of business IT and Telecommunications solutions.
- Consultative sales experience and approach
- Demonstrated ability to position and present at a C-suite level
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team
- Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process and pipeline
- Strong working knowledge of ITSM, ITIL service delivery concepts
**Desirable**
- Prior experience within an outsourced service delivery environment
- Commercial experience & exposure to Presales or Solutions Architecture in as many of the following areas: IT, cloud, data, networking, unified communications, voice or telephony
- Industry based technical certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, EMC, Cisco, HP)
- IT Project Management Foundation level accreditation (PMBOK, PRINCE 2)
