We are seeking a highly skilled **Quality and Compliance Consultant** to join our team in Chatswood, Australia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring our organisation maintains the highest standards of quality and adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential quality and compliance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and resolve compliance-related concerns
- Provide expert guidance on quality and compliance matters to senior management and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on quality and compliance best practices
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards, updating internal processes accordingly
- Prepare comprehensive reports on quality and compliance performance for management review
- Lead and participate in external audits and inspections from regulatory bodies
- Manage quality and compliance-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives

This is a full time, permanent role. The salary range is $115K to $121K per annum (inclusive of superannuation) - dependant on qualifications and experience. Click here to view the full position profile.
**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years' experience in a quality and compliance role in a large complex organisation
- Skilled in the navigation of a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority
- Highly evolved and developed communication skills and the ability to translate policy/legislation to practical initiatives that can be adopted within the organisation
- Demonstrated experience in developing and creating quality/compliance initiative through to implementation
- Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance standards in both Disability and Education sectors
- Strong experience in conducting internal audits and risk assessments
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance
- Ability to stay current with evolving industry regulations and best practices
- Working with Children Check clearance (NSW)
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Clearance and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation module
