Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director - Digital Portfolio Services, you will lead a team of solution architects and technical advisors to deliver end-to-end solution architecture services and design products which guide the development and implementation of digital systems within Metro North Health in line with enterprise architecture policies, processes and governance. This includes driving the design and architecture of solutions to support project delivery in conjunction with business analysts, technical advisors and operational support resources.
Key knowledge and experience
**The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Proven experience in leading a team/s in the in the delivery of solution architecture for complex digital or ICT projects or programs and delivering services to large, complex organisations preferably in the health care sector.
- Proven experience in leading the development of architectural designs for complex solutions, ensuring consistency across systems and agreed requirements with and for both internal and external stakeholders in line with organisational architectural standards and governance.
- Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex digital environment, including the ability to explain and deliver solution designs and services in business terms.
- Demonstrated leadership capability including proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective team and cultivating productive working relationships.
- Evidence of integrity and respect within a team with proven experience in identifying and managing external and internal suppliers and stakeholders which promotes the successful delivery of digital services across Metro North Health.
